It had been decided that it was silly for Henn to spend every weekend on the island when it was just as easy for Cass to spend the weekend in New Orleans, especially on the weeks when Henn worked on Friday nights.
This had been one of those, and just at the moment she was waiting for Kitten to show up with Cass, working on dinner, she liked having a reason to cook something other than snacks, granted, it wasn't anything spectacular, risotto from a box and home made soup, but she felt like she was finally breaking the kitchen in properly. |
