What: Coffee! The #2 addiction in America, don'tchya know
When/Where: This morning/a coffee bar in Miami
Warnings: Dex is a little crazy, and looking at murder casefile. But other than that, maybe a bit of swearing.
Dexter was in the middle of his usual breakfast- a large coffee and whatever donut the little hole-in-the-wall he frequented picked up from the bigger chain that day. It was actually glazed, raspberry filled today, not so bad. How he was eating it while pouring over his current case was anyone's guess, as the drops of jelly mingled with the reds of blood in the photos, and he had to gather up a napkin, to try and wipe it off. |

What: Back to normal..ish
When/Where: Backdated to Friday, post-alternaverse, Tsung's mansion
Warnings: sex-because it's been one hell of a week
That morning was certainly nerve-wrecking, Sonya had woken up with a jerk, thinking she was being strangled only to realize that she was back to her 28 year old self. With this came the realization that she hadn't been to work in a week and after a quick shower and change, she had barely had time for a quick breakfast and 'good morning' to Shang before leaving the door to solve some major damage control.
By the end of the day, Sonya arrived back home, emotionally and mentally spent. Thanks to Dr. Cameron, she'd fabricated an excuse for her absence, but that still didn't let her off from all the paper work she had to sort to get caught up, and she still had to go through the plans for her transfer.
She caught Charles on her way to her chambers. "Tell Tsung, I'll have something to eat later and that if he wants to talk to me, I'll be in the bath tub taking a soak."
Hearing him leave, Sonya found her way to her chambers. Entering her room, she used sorcery to turn on the bath in the adjacent bathroom, not even bothering to put her clothes away as she stripped and stepped inside the tub, luxuriating in the hot, soapy water.
