Loneliness took it's toll on a man, and Winston was only just starting to realize it. Never before did he think he would miss Big Brother yet there he was, walking down the street, wishing there was a telescreen somewhere. At least then he knew someone was watching, that someone knew he existed and cared about his existence. But there was nothing and no one watching him.
Stepping into the cafe where he was supposed to meet O'Brien, he smiled shyly at the waitress who greeted him and then stepped off to get his usual tea. With that he moved and sat down in a chair near the window, rubbing his hands together. |

They had been out shopping for the baby, and because of Remy's new promotion at work. Sophie had gone home to hang out with her friends or whatever she was going to do while her parents stayed out, enjoying time to themselves, apparently. They were walking down the street when Remy realized that they were near the bank that was part of the hospital.
"Oh hey.. I need to go check on the deposit box in here for Dr. Cuddy.. since we're here, do you wanna do it now? I mean I wasn't supposed to until Monday, but we're already here.." she asked him, sticking her hands in her pockets. |

WHO: Navi and Katya, with occasional interjections from Jason if he wants to
WHAT: Lingerie shopping.
WHERE: Harrod's.
WARNINGS: Not really any. Pretty women in lingerie.
Katya had left a message on the holonet for the woman called Navi and for Jason, asking if they wanted to go to shop for girly things. She hadn't heard back, but she would give it a bit longer. She had finished up her time at the office - she'd been getting used to listening to people's problems, though it was hard not to just yell "Shut up already!" at least once a day. Still. She deserved some fun time, especially when the end result would be (hopefully) Atton's head exploding. |
