Who: Danny and Mary, maybe a doctor (Probably Chase for convenience)
Where: Hospital
When: After Mary collapsed last night and Danny rushed her to the hospital
Warnings: None, yet
Danny sat by Mary's side, holding ehr hand, thumb stroking the back of her hand while they waited for the results of her tests. He'd been terrified in Iraq, with bombs and guns and uncertainty in the air. but when Mary passed out while they were talking, he'd totally freaked out. He understood her fear, when he'd been sick just a few months earlier. It wasn't at all like the terror he'd known in a live war zone, it was more intense.
"How're you feeling?" he asked, unable to sit in silence, waiting. |
