Entry tags:future!dean winchester, sam winchester

Who: Sam and future!Dean Winchester
When: Backdated like whoa, before the plotty.
Where: Vegas.
Why: Because Sam's on the run from his emo, and his other brother is off in Oz, and because Bobby asked him to. And because any Dean is an *awesome* brother.
Rating: Language, most likely. In fact, definitely.

Sam held Roxy's leash tightly going through the Portkey. He didn't want any chance of losing her. Finding himself in the City of Sin, he walked down the strip until he found the hotel and casino his other brother had told him about. He gave his brother's name at the desk and waited for the conceirge to call Dean down to let him come up.

Sam downed the rest of his beer and plunked it down on the coffee table. He was lying a little bit, to Dean. Dad was letting him crash at his place, but he didn't want to make his brother feel weird when the whole reason he'd driven out here was to see the man.

"Just bullshit with my girl. She's...well, she's lost her mind is what she's done. And she doesn't even see the...the...*problem* with what she did." Sam got a little angry, which made Roxy bump his hand that wasn't gesturing with her nose and whine. "Want another one? American beer's not the same in London." Sam rose to get himself another beer.

"Yeah, sure," Dean answered and watched him as he went to the kitchen. London. Hmm.

He didn't want to pry because he didn't know the situation, but yeah, deep down? He so wanted to pry. You know, to help out Sam first of all, but to actually get to know what his life was about and what he had to deal with day to day. He had a feeling that they were in far off different places, obviously, but it was still his brother. He wanted to help out where he could.

"What is exactly bullshit?" Dean asked and patted the space next to him to Roxy so she'd cozy on up to him. Roxy obeyed and the next thing Dean knew, he was petting on a dog while Sam made his way back to the living room.

"I'm not drunk enough to comment on that yet, dude." Sam sort of grinned and handed Dean another beer when he came back in. Roxy was getting loved up by Dean, and Sam was glad for that.

Roxy loving tended to make anyone's troubles go away.

He sat down again and sighed.

"Anne's just...well, she's different . I love her so much but...I just want her to be happy. I don't even know now if I'm the guy who's supposed to make her happy." Sam leaned forward, rested his elbows on his knees. "One thing you're gonna learn about this crazy fucked up world is that it's just that, crazy and fucked up."

"Alright, that's fair," Dean reasoned with a shrug. Yeah, Dean wasn't all for telling Sam his problems either, so he could understand that. Different. All chicks were different but deep down, they all wanted the same thing. Unless they were Faith. Those chicks just didn't have souls. Alright, so maybe he was being a little too hard on the chick that was Faith Lehane, but come on. Anyone could easily tell that she was definitely different.

He didn't really know what to say because hell, he had no idea. He didn't know who Anne was or how she was, but Emily did mention something about her to him, but it wasn't anything about ... this.

"Why would you say that?" Dean asked him point blank and finished off his first beer. He leaned forward and set it on the table before laying back against the couch and Roxy seemed to get more comfortable.

"I say if you love her and she loves you, then ... nothing can stop that. I'm assumin'. Course I was all wrong about that, but whatever. You're different." He needed the stability. Dean was more of a free spirit while Sam needed the reassurance of someone being there, or well, so he thought.

"Yeah, I've learned," Dean stated and made a face. "This place is fucked up."
