Ianto was greeted at the door by Lyssa who smiled at him then looked mournfully at the beer he was carrying. Instead for her there was milkshake which she seemed happy to wander off to the kitchen with while he went to the living room where he hoped he'd find Owen.

"Hey." He held up the beer. "My way of saying thanks. Amazed you still want to see me after the last week." He looked slightly awkward standing about for a moment. Then he suddenly spoke.

"I think I just asked Gwen out on a date."

	"More than the rare occassion." Lyssa shouted in from the kitchen, of course she was just a little bit listening in on their conversation. "They were some damn good occassions. 	Ianto looked at Owen, that was more than he needed to know there. "I was saying thanks for last week by offering to take her out for a drink then I might have added it's a date there she said if you like and now I'm here." "LYSSA." He shook his head. "You don't have to eavesdrop. You can bloody join us." He looked up to the kitchen, rolling his eyes at Ianto as he did so. "Just get your arse out here so I don't have to bloody yell. And no telling about our shagging!"

He turned back to Ianto. "Ok, so you've been on a date with blondie. Go with Gwen, see who you enjoy more, and pick your answer there. Or go and see who shags better."

"See you were doing so well, then you broke it." From the door to the kitchen she pointed. "If you ignore the 'see who shags better' he's right. Don't get used to it, Owen." She smirked and headed over.

"An' just why not?" She leant on the back of the sofa. "Thought you'd be all for telling people anyway." She held a glass out. "Trade you. Milkshake for some beer." She moved round to kiss him then stopped turning to Ianto.

"If it's because what you think you should have with Gwen, then don't do that, wouldn't be fair. 'Sides, there could be a universe were you and him hooked up, adopted or something." She sat between them and innocently began drinking the milkshake again.

Owen wrapped an arm around her waist, yet held the beer just out of her reach. "I'll give you something else for the milkshake, but not the beer." He waggled his eyebrows at her and turned back to Ianto.

"No, you're not Jack. Or me. You're better than both of us. And if you ever tell anyone I said that, I'll deny it and shoot you. That said... You have to figure out which one you like. If you won't do it by shagging, then what do you want?"

"Me? Admit there's more to it than just sex..." He looked over at Lyssa and felt a little soft spot in his heart. It was more than just sex with her. Not that he'd admit that to Ianto. But the bloke had a point. Lyssa, Owen felt, was his match. He turned back to Ianto, raising an eyebrow. He was going to regret this, he could feel it.

"It is more than just sex. I know..." He sighed, hugging Lyssa closer, resting his head on her shoulder. "So what you have to do, coffee boy, is figure out who it is? Gwen or blondie. What is her name again? Doesn't matter. Which one do you talk with. Which one are you comfortable with. Which one is your match..." He sighed. "Shame to see the blond go, though. Better tits then Gwen, I imagine."

"Reinette, her name is Reinette." Ianto shook his head smiling. Typical Owen, make a good point then the last sentence shatters the point he can actually be understanding by bringing the conversation back to breasts. Ianto sighed.

"I don't think I want to see Reinette go either. Now I'm back to myself I think it's time I saw her again after I see Gwen and deal with that."

Owen rolled his eyes, adopting a very fake Welsh accent as he spoke to Ianto. "Ok, Reinette. Her name is Reinette. Happy?" He went back to his own accent, taking a long pull of his beer.

"You need to deal with it, Ianto. See Gwen. See Reinette. Ooh, make one of those lists, aye? You like lists. Put the Gwen on one side. Then, put the Reinette on the other." His eyes widened and he bounced on the sofa. "See who has the most points!"

	"Good." Owen jumped up and went into the other room. It had been his office, but it had been converted into a nursery. He was lucky enough to be allowed to keep his desk there. He got out a pen and paper, returning to sit beside Lyssa. He handed the paper and pen to Ianto, wanting to be able to keep his hands free to drink. "Ok, who do you want to start with?" "You notice how she thinks she's his second in command or some shit?" He held onto Lyssa, taking a sip of her milkshake. As soon as he did, he regretted it, frowning a bit. He liked milkshake, but it tasted shitty after a good beer. "She always wants to go with him or sit and talk with him in the office. Sometimes I feel like we don't exist at all."

He kissed Lyssa's forehead. "Yes, an ex. No worries there, pet." He looked back up at Ianto. "And yes, I care about people as much as the next bloke, but you can't care so much that you can't pull the trigger when it's the right thing to do."
