Who: Candy and Mutt.
What: Going out to lunch.
When: Wednesday afternoon.
Where University of Chicago.
Warnings: Really mild swearing is possible, but other than that, nope.

Candy had kissed Onyxx goodbye before taking a taxi to the portkey. The process of taking one was always odd, and she felt a bit discombobulated afterwards, but she was getting better with them. Once in Chicago, she got her bearings and slipped into a business building, using her "my mom works here" excuse.

After looking at the map she'd printed out, she flew in the direction of the university, looking down for any people on roofs. She laughed when she saw one, hoping it was Mutt, and angled the craft downward. She had a bag in the glyph, and it had her wallet and things, as well as the iPod she'd loaded for Mutt with a few songs.

	Mutt was sitting on the roof of his dorm, wearing a leather jacket despite the sun. He was nervously combing his hair, somewhat miffed that his switchblade had been replaced with a retractable comb in a switchblade handle. When he saw the weird thing in the sky he stood, smiling. She landed the glyph a bit away from him, pushing herself out and grabbing her bag once her feet were on solid ground. She'd dressed casually, just jeans and a tank top, and she grinned as she jogged over to see him.

"Hi. It's good to meet you in person." She hugged him, wrapping her arms around his torso, squeezing lightly. She'd not been touched a lot until her adventures in the Abarat, which had surprised her by renewing her faith in people and their inherent goodness.

	He was surprised at the hug, and returned it a bit cautiously. "It's nice to meet you too. That thing is far out, what is it?" He glanced at the glyph, obviously geeking out, despite the cool clothes and hair. Well, cool if you were really into Happy Days. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She tugged him by the hand to show him the glyph. "Um. It's a glyph. I summon it with magic, and it's fun to fly. I control it with my mind. Wanna fly it?" She jumped back into it and sat down in the spot furthest away from him, fussing with the iPod and a set of portable speakers. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Uh? Sure." He was a bit wary, but stepped in anyway, looking around. He respectfully took a seat that was not next to her, but not so far away that he had to talk loudly to be heard. 	She turned around, looking at him. "Come sit by me. Just in case you get distracted and pilot it into the ground, I want to be able to take over. And this is your iPod." 	He nodded and moved closer, taking the seat next to her. "Alright show me how to- whoa!" The music made him jump, and he laughed a little. "Sorry, I didn't know you had turned it on."
