Knowing that Navi had picked out the perfect pet for the two of them really came at no surprise. She had that quality about her, something that didn't have a name, but definitely existed. With one look, or just a smile, sbe could completely change a situation. If there was real darkness in the world, then she was the light, the brightest there had ever been. She just made everything feel perfect. That was her magic. And it could be applied to picking out pets. She had a brilliant mind, of course, but more than that she just knew. After looking at the picture, Alec was sure she was right, and now he was looking forward to coming home even more than usual, which was quite a bit.

Home. That's right. They lived together now, everything was settled into the apartment that they shared, and it had instantly became the home he imagined it always would be. Going to sleep with her in his arms, waking up to the sight of her, it was like a dream come true. A dream he enver realized he had, but a dream nonetheless, and things couldn't get better. He'd just finished up some lessons at the gym and was in the process of cleaning up. A quick shower, just enough to rinse the sweat off, and a change into clean clothing. He was saying bye to everyone as he was jogging across the mats and making his way to the door. No time to spare, as far as he was concerned. His trusty means of transporation, the bike, was waiting for him outside. He'd already figured out a short cut to getting home, it happened when you went back and forth every day, and it wasn't any time before he was parking at the apartment complex.

The stairs all the way up to their aparment were even't a hastle anymore, especially when he was in such a good mood, he took them two at a time with a smile on his lips. She was already home, so he left his keys in his pockets and stepped inside, not being able to help but grin that much more. "Baby? Not hiding, are you?" Oh, she loved that, didn't she? One time he'd come home and she had almost scared him to death. Of course the way she giggled afterwards, he couldn't help but laugh.

She nodded weakly, barely even able to move those few muscles in her neck. "I think I could sleep for a hundred years and still be sleepy and sore." Navi kissed his neck, burying her head in it. "You smell good," she mumbled.

She managed to wrap her arms around him, giggling and managing to fly upward a bit, laying down on him. "You know we have to go get a new bed frame tomorrow, right?"

Alec loved the way she felt in his arms, her body was warm and flushed, the scent of her was fairly strong. "Mm, it's too bad I won't let you sleep for a hundred years, huh?" Of course he was teasing her, but it was spoken in a somewhat lazy tone, his body sinking into the bedroom, tension slowly leaving his muscles.

He cracked an eye open to look at her when she moved on top of him, arms locked around her body, grinning just a little. "I think it's worth having to get a new bed frame."

She liked how damn content Alec looked after sex. She'd watched a lot of television about animals, and he was perfectly tigerish after sex. It looked like he belonged on a rock somewhere, sunning himself.

Navi curled up on Alec's chest, moaning in contentment when he wrapped his arms around her. "Can you sleep on it tonight, or do you wanna go sleep on the couch?" She arched her neck upward so she could kiss his neck, tongue reaching out to taste the salt of his drying sweat. "It's funny. I can't sleep anymore if you're not around."

The tension had all but left his body at that point, breathing returning to normal, a long with his heart beat. None of it really mattered, all that he could concentrate on was the way she felt in his arms, her body slick from all the sweat, though it was starting to dry Softly he kissed her forehead, sighing in contentment, liking the way she had all been settled in against him.

One hand moved up and slid back into her damp hair, the movement not as fluid as usual, since his muscles felt like they were made of Jello. "Think we can both fit on the couch." He figured they could, especially when he liked her being as close to him as she could be. "Can't either. It's not the same without you close."

Navi felt like a limp, but extraordinarily contented rag doll. She smiled as he ran his hands along her, as he kissed her. She moved her head so that she could hear the soft, steady rhythm of his heartbeat, smiling to herself. "You know, I didn't think I could love anything half as much as I love you." She kissed his chest, and then fluttered up and toward the living room. Flying took less effort than walking.

She sat down, stretching out and enjoying the feel of the ceiling fan drying the sweat off of her skin. She could hear Turbo relaxing and snoring softly in his bed, and she smiled to herself as she waited for Alec to walk over.

Even if he couldn't see it, he could always feel her smile, and in turn he softly stroked her hair. "Didn't thin it was possible to feel like this either." Oh, he thought he'd been in love before, but then Navi had shown him what it really meant. The way he loved her, it was completely, unlike any thing else he had ever felt.

He let go of her when she started to flutter up from his body and he grinned a little, watching her fly out of the room. He pushed himself up from the bed and grabbed all of the pillows, a long with a new blanket. He carried them into the living room and smiled at Navi before glancing over at Turbo, who was still sleeping.

"Feels nice in here." The ceiling fan was definitely cooling the room off, which was a nice change from the bedroom.

The only thing better than loving Alec was being loved by Alec, and she wasn't afraid to tell him so. The way he stroked her hair said everything, and it was all she could do to keep from slightly flapping her wings. She was still learning when they came out, and she found that she could generally control it, but at home where nobody could see, she let herself get lazy.

"Mmm," Navi agreed, pleased with the temperature of the room. She floated upward so Alec could lay down and get comfortable. She'd curl into a little ball at his side once he was settled.

In a lot of ways, he'd never shared this kind of affection and intimacy before, which made it that much better that it was something only between the two of them. Holding her, the way she kissed his chest, or smiled when she listened to his heart beat. He couldn't imagine that happening with anyone else. Just came with being as much in love as they were.

Once inside the living room, he moved over to the couch and laid down, putting the pillow there so that they could both share it. "I'm actually too tired to eat right now." He teased her in a light tone.

Navi didn't know a lot about love, but she knew that it had to be protected to flourish and thrive. She'd do anything to keep what they had, and hoped he knew it. She knew that he'd do the same, and sometimes at work she found herself giggling for no reason.

As she fluttered down, she pretended to be shocked. "Too hungry to eat? That's something I never thought I'd hear you say. Maybe I broke you too," she grinned, wrapping her arms and legs again. "And, for the record, that's something we absolutely have to do again. But maybe on the floor. We can't break the bed every day."

"I know, it's a tragedy. Letting my girlfriend wear me out so much that I can't summon the energy to eat." There was a smile on his lips as he teased her, arms wrapping around Navi when she moved back down to him, wanting her body to be close once again. He would never ever get tired of holding her, no matter what, that was something that he was definitely sure of.

The couch was actually pretty comfortable, his head was resting on the pillow, and he had managed to stretch his legs out. "Maybe you did break me." He tilted is head down and kissed her neck softly. 'Don't think you'll have to worry. Can guarantee we'll be doing it again." Of course the floor was a good suggestion, considering what they'd done to the bed.

"Hey, you didn't have to get me off ... you know, I lost count?" She yawned and stretched, letting her head rest on his shoulder. "Let's just go with eleventy bajillion times. That's not a real number, but it sort of lets you know that it was a lot." Navi giggled and nibbled at his shoulder playfully, the tiny movement all her body would allow.

She purred as he kissed her neck, sighing. "Mmm. You know, you're even sexier when you're all bossy," she mumbled, sleep already starting to take command of her limbs.

"You're right, I didn't have to." Arms pulled her a little closer, his eyes were shut at the moment, but his lips were curled into a slight smirk. "Wanted to though. Might even try for more next time." When she said eleventy bajillion he laughed a little to himself. "I think I can settle for that number. Fits just fine." He could feel her teeth lightly pressing into his shoulder.

Reaching over he grabbed the blanket he'd set on the ground and covered the two of them up with it. "Not something you hear often," he teased her. "But I think I can do it for you."

"I'm kind of glad that you did. I think if the breeze blew the wrong way right now, I'd probably come again." She ran her fingers idly up and down his stomach, feeling the muscles tense and relax.

Navi smiled at the blanket, burrowing a little bit. "Mmm. Don't know why - you're the sweetest man I know - but I like it when we're naked. Is that weird?"

"Sounds like I might be doing my job then." Of course Navi made him feel just as good, everything she did resulted in an even more intense feeling, he really couldn't have asked for anything else. He leaned his head back against the pillow, doing his best not to laugh when her fingers slid up down his stomach, only because he was slightly ticklish.

His body had cooled off for the most part, at least compared to when they were in the bedroom, so the blanket covering the two of them up felt pretty good. "Not weird at all. Everyone likes different things."

"Mmm. You love me and you take care of me and make me laugh and break the bed with me. You're perfect, you know." She stroked the perfect pink shell of his ear, and smiled dreamily.

Alec's warmth plus the blanket had served to warm Navi enough where she felt as cozy as ever. "Good. I didn't want to like something you thought was weird. Next time, we'll have to do what you like," she yawned, moving her legs so they were comfortably next to his.

"You do the same for me. Like the saying goes...takes two to break a bed." He tilted his head to the side slightly, still smiling at her, feeling her fingertips slide over his ear. "Okay, so maybe I just made that up on the spot." Of course he had, it was just nice to be able to play with her about something like that.

The couch was pretty comfortable, or at least it was to him, especially with the warmth of her body resting against his own. "Definitely don't think it's weird." He had stretched his own legs out, the couch was big enough for him to do so. "Pretty sure I like anything with you." Admitted he had certainly things he liked the most, but still.

"I think it's takes two to tango, but I don't know how to tango, and I think breaking the bed sounds more fun anyway." She looked up at him, propping herself up on her elbows to kiss him on the mouth. It was a small, tender thing, as sweet as the first one they'd shared together. She smiled at the memory, moving her head to murmur in his ear. "Remember our first date? I'm glad you said yes, you know." She grinned and wrapped a possessive arm around him, recalling that he'd been flirting with someone else a few days before they'd gone out.

She smiled a bit to herself, kissing his earlobe. "I'm glad you don't think it's weird. And how about this. When I can walk normally again, you get Alec Day. You pick what you want to do, what you want to eat, where you want to do me, and we'll go from there. You let me have my fantasies, I sorta wanna make you happy too."

"I'll take breaking the bed with you over the tango any day.' When she kissed his lips, he returned it, keeping it light and sweet, just the way she wanted it, and something that he did enjoy. "Not that you aren't going to dance with me at some point." It wasn't like Alec really cared about dancing at all, he was just teasing her about it, mostly. "I remember...best choice I ever made. Best thing that's ever happened to me." Almost every detail of their first date was etched in his memory, he knew he'd been flirting with another girl before, but he never even thought about it now. Not when he had Navi.

"Alec day, huh?" He grinned a little, keeping his head on the pillow, glancing in her direction. "You're getting yourself in for a lot then." He loved every day they spent together but he could really appreciate her saying that. "You always make me happy."

"Me too." She felt her heart speed up and her stomach fill with butterflies when he kissed her. She swallowed hard, and nodded. "I'll try dancing for you! I doubt I'll be very good at it, but I'll try." She figured if she was bad at it, at home she could just float above him. It took out all the guesswork in footwork.

She liked that he remembered their first date, remembered the other woman he was going to take out - if only because it meant that she wasn't crazy for remembering them too. She was infinitely grateful that things had turned out how they had, if only because she couldn't comprehend a life where things hadn't turned out as they had.

"Yup, Alec Day. Could make it a monthly holiday." She grinned and kissed his shoulder. "You always make me happy too, but still. Alec Day. We're doing it."

"I'm sure that you'll do just fine." He was watching her with a curious look on his face now, she didn't need to worry about anything like that. "We can just do it here anyway." Of course some of the ways that he had imagined Navi dancing in his mind couldn't exactly be done anywhere besides home.

He'd never really done the dating thing before her, sure he saw plenty of girls and sometimes he would take them out, but nothing like what they did. It was a real relationship, what they were sharing, so that explained a lot of it. Going out with her that first time...he'd easily say it was the best day of his life now. It gave him her, and that was the greatest gift of all.

He kissed the top of her head softly before leaning back against, giving a slight nod. "Don't worry, don't think I'll ever be objecting to Alec Day. Especially with how you've described it."

"I hope so!" Navi knew that Alec probably knew that she'd end up doing research on every form of dancing available, attempting to master all of them. Sometimes she got irritated that she didn't know everything anymore, but most of the time, she saw it as a challenge: a whole new world to discover!

Getting to have a relationship at all was something that Navi found exciting, something she could no longer imagine not having. She could point to their first date and say that it was the moment her life had started as a human, and definately the best day of her life as well.

"I think Alec Day will probably work out in my favor too. But that's just conjecture." She yawned, closing her eyes. "I'm looking forward to it, though." She reached out with one arm to the table by the couch, looking for her cell phone to set the alarm on it. She wanted to get up a bit early to call in 'I Can't Walk' to work.

The smile on Alec's lips became even a little more brighter when Navi responded so easily. He knew that she liked being challenge in that way, something that she might not know tons about now, but surely within a few days would have gathered up more than enough information. He really did love that about her. It kept things fresh and exciting, interesting, and she was just...amazing. "We won't practice 'til you can walk right again." He also loved teasing her, admittedly.

"Mm, I think you're right about that, good day for me is going to be a good day for you." He wasn't saying that because he was trying to be egotistical, just the fact that they loved spending time together so much, there was no way that it could end up being bad.

"Think I might stay home with you tomorrow too.'

"Oh, gosh, thanks," Navi teased, blowing a raspberry at her boyfriend. "I'm glad you're not trying to literally break me." She giggled and ran her fingers through his hair.

She bit her lip to keep from grinning too wickedly. "Oh, I know it will be. I think I know what you like - or at least have an idea - and I like it too." She whimpered faintly as she started to get turned on again, feeling a near painful throb between her legs.

"Mmm, think I like that idea. We can have waffles and watch cartoons."

"Anytime." Alec flashed her one of his grins that could usually get to anyone that he tried it on, not that he cared too much about that any more. "What good would it do me if I did break you? I'd just have to wait 'til you were all healed up...and that'd drive me crazy."

The way she was biting her lip was just as sexy as anything else, though his body was exhausted, it did turn him on a little. 'I bet you do have a good idea of what I like." Really, he had quite a few favorites that they'd already done, and it wasn't any surprise to him that she had picked up on it.

"Cartoons and waffles. I'm not sure it gets much better than that." The idea was actually really appealing. Sitting on the couch with her, having breakfast, watching anything they wanted.

His grins still worked on her, and she ducked her head, giggling like she had the first time he'd used its power on her. "True. You'll have to be careful with me, then."

She closed her eyes, getting a bit more comfortable, feeling her muscles relax and melt into the couch. "I don't think it does," she replied, lacing her fingers with his. "I love you. I'm going to spend as much time as I can with you, forever. Hope you don't mind."
