Knowing that Navi had picked out the perfect pet for the two of them really came at no surprise. She had that quality about her, something that didn't have a name, but definitely existed. With one look, or just a smile, sbe could completely change a situation. If there was real darkness in the world, then she was the light, the brightest there had ever been. She just made everything feel perfect. That was her magic. And it could be applied to picking out pets. She had a brilliant mind, of course, but more than that she just knew. After looking at the picture, Alec was sure she was right, and now he was looking forward to coming home even more than usual, which was quite a bit.

Home. That's right. They lived together now, everything was settled into the apartment that they shared, and it had instantly became the home he imagined it always would be. Going to sleep with her in his arms, waking up to the sight of her, it was like a dream come true. A dream he enver realized he had, but a dream nonetheless, and things couldn't get better. He'd just finished up some lessons at the gym and was in the process of cleaning up. A quick shower, just enough to rinse the sweat off, and a change into clean clothing. He was saying bye to everyone as he was jogging across the mats and making his way to the door. No time to spare, as far as he was concerned. His trusty means of transporation, the bike, was waiting for him outside. He'd already figured out a short cut to getting home, it happened when you went back and forth every day, and it wasn't any time before he was parking at the apartment complex.

The stairs all the way up to their aparment were even't a hastle anymore, especially when he was in such a good mood, he took them two at a time with a smile on his lips. She was already home, so he left his keys in his pockets and stepped inside, not being able to help but grin that much more. "Baby? Not hiding, are you?" Oh, she loved that, didn't she? One time he'd come home and she had almost scared him to death. Of course the way she giggled afterwards, he couldn't help but laugh.

The smile on Alec's lips became even a little more brighter when Navi responded so easily. He knew that she liked being challenge in that way, something that she might not know tons about now, but surely within a few days would have gathered up more than enough information. He really did love that about her. It kept things fresh and exciting, interesting, and she was just...amazing. "We won't practice 'til you can walk right again." He also loved teasing her, admittedly.

"Mm, I think you're right about that, good day for me is going to be a good day for you." He wasn't saying that because he was trying to be egotistical, just the fact that they loved spending time together so much, there was no way that it could end up being bad.

"Think I might stay home with you tomorrow too.'

	Navi didn't even know how to answer. Sometimes Alec said things that she never really thought she'd hear, and they never failed to make her tear up. They were always happy tears, and she smiled and nodded into his neck, sniffling a little. "Only with you too," she murmured, smiling and sleepy and content and deliciously worn out. 	Alec could hear her sniffling, knowing that it meant, but also realizing that it hadn't been because she was upset. "Someday me and you'll...we'll have our own house. Even more room for Turbo. It'll be just our place. Our own little corner of the world." He could hear how tired she was in her voice, he was feeling much the same, but he loved talking with her too. 	"I don't think it matters where we go as long as you get to be shirtless the majority of the time. I think I can swim, dunno. You might have to teach me that too." She grinned and added driving to her list of things to research. Navi couldn't think of anything else to add to his proclamation, so she just kissed him again. "Ditto." 	"I've been looking at some bikinis online. You should help me." She grinned and stroked his cheek. She couldn't think of anywhere else in the world she wanted to be, particularly when Turbo started snoring softly. "It's true.
