Neville had a lot on his mind after the discussion with Harry. It was a lot to take in at once really. He hadn't been foolish enough to believe that ridding the world of Voldemort was going to be as simple as a stray killing curse hitting the Dark Lord; but he hadn't expected to find out that it required destroying objects that contained fragments of his soul first. Then again; he didn't really know what he had expected. But at least Harry, Hermione and Ron's prolonged absence these past few years made a lot more sense in this light.
He stepped into the Leaky, pulling his coat off and hanging it over his arm as he walked through the establishment, looking for Hannah. He found her finally in the kitchen and he couldn't help but smile just from the site of her. While it had been wonderful to see Harry, nothing brought him more happiness then being around her.
He came up behind her, setting his coat down on a counter as he walked, and slipped his arms around her waist, his chin settling down against her shoulder. He pressed his lips against her neck. "Hey," he whispered gently, wondering to himself why she was awake this late and still working. Well...they were always working. He imagined she was waiting for him.
