Who: Hugo and Scorpius
When: Backdated to Friday afternoon
Where: Bungalow #1
What: Baking pies and being distracted.
Status/Rating: Incomplete, tbd
It was storming like hell outside. Scorpius, wisely, decided to remain inside. There was no way he was going out there to get rained on and electrocuted, thankyouverymuch. Unless the roof caved in – which it sounded like it might at any moment – he was staying put.
The thing was, he couldn't stay put and not do anything. Reading couldn't keep his mind off the booming thunder. He didn't have a chess board or cards, and even if he did, the bungalow was – for some reason – good and empty.
Scorpius hadn't baked anything in a long time. He didn't have the time to bake while he was a Healer trainee, and something about baking around Remus or Regulus put him off the idea. He didn't need either of them talking to his father and letting him know his son indulged in a poncy thing like baking pies.
But without them there, Scorpius found himself drawn to the kitchen. Rose had made a pie. Why shouldn't he? Soon enough, the counters were a mess. Flour, sugar, baking soda, and all the little spices he'd managed to gather and buy were out and scattered everywhere. Scorpius didn't care. There were two pies in the oven and they were going to be the best thing to ever grace Merlin's mouth.
