Harry hadn't gone far from the house. Roughly half a mile to the north, actually. They're property stretched for quite a bit and it was in all honesty a very nice spot. Once you pasted the main section around the house, the area became forested. It certainly wasn't like the forest surrounding Hogwarts, but it suited him well. It was quite without being surrounded in silence. In other words it was a good place to cool down and collect ones sense...or what little bit of sense one actually had. He'd pushed it too far this time. He knew that. He'd almost lost her ... all because of he couldn't ignore Pucey.

He was just glad she hadn't left. That he had a chance to make this work. He wouldn't need another one. He believed that firmly. He'd walked out there, but he couldn't take the time to walk back. He should have been there a long time ago and he wasn't about to waist anymore time out there alone. Collecting his journal and just barely remembering to grab the pen (carrying a quill and inkwell wasn't exactly practical) he apparated back to the house.

He was a little hesitant to go inside, afraid that she'd left after all. He didn't like the feeling and did the only thing he could to alleviate it. He went inside, immediately looking for a sign to reassure himself that Daphne was in fact still there. He'd never really thought he'd be happy to see a pair of shoes, but seeing Daphne's tucked neatly beside a pair was probably one of his happier moments. She hadn't left. He just needed to find her.

Harry was relieved that she felt alright. He didn't want her to be upset anymore, particularly over some stupid argument. It wasn't important anymore. What was important was the fact that they were alright, that things would work out. He was enjoying lying beside her. It had been too long since he'd been able to...well, been able to without anything hanging between them. He'd missed having her beside him at night.

After the initial shiver caused by her fingers, Harry remained still, growing accustomed to her touch. In sensitive spots he'd shift slightly, but never away from her. For several minutes he just remained there, her hands brushing lightly over her skin and he watched her. When he couldn't remain there any longer, he pulled her closer to him.

He wanted to say a million things, half of which seemed to be apologies, but he didn't say anything. He simply held her, kissing her when the desire arose. The apologies weren't needed. Half of what he wanted to say she already knew. There were times when it was better not to say anything at all, even Harry knew that. That moment seemed to be one of them.
