Harry hadn't gone far from the house. Roughly half a mile to the north, actually. They're property stretched for quite a bit and it was in all honesty a very nice spot. Once you pasted the main section around the house, the area became forested. It certainly wasn't like the forest surrounding Hogwarts, but it suited him well. It was quite without being surrounded in silence. In other words it was a good place to cool down and collect ones sense...or what little bit of sense one actually had. He'd pushed it too far this time. He knew that. He'd almost lost her ... all because of he couldn't ignore Pucey.
He was just glad she hadn't left. That he had a chance to make this work. He wouldn't need another one. He believed that firmly. He'd walked out there, but he couldn't take the time to walk back. He should have been there a long time ago and he wasn't about to waist anymore time out there alone. Collecting his journal and just barely remembering to grab the pen (carrying a quill and inkwell wasn't exactly practical) he apparated back to the house.
He was a little hesitant to go inside, afraid that she'd left after all. He didn't like the feeling and did the only thing he could to alleviate it. He went inside, immediately looking for a sign to reassure himself that Daphne was in fact still there. He'd never really thought he'd be happy to see a pair of shoes, but seeing Daphne's tucked neatly beside a pair was probably one of his happier moments. She hadn't left. He just needed to find her.
