She should have known he was going to do that, but for some reason, Daphne hadn't expected him to cling to her the way he did. That was fine though. She wanted to be close to him. They almost ... broke up, she though. Almost, though. Almost didn't always count. And plus, it was just a silly argument. They'd be fine and go on with life soon enough.
Her arms found their way around his neck and the second his lips met hers, Daphne didn't fight them away, though welcomed them as she felt the suds rolling off her arms. She didn't want this whole big apology. It was all her fault anyway. She started the entire argument all because of Adrian.
Hearing his words, Daphne shook her head and kissed him again, just wanting him to stop talking all together. He knew he wasn't at fault. Harry had every right to want her to defend him, and she would do just that for now on. She didn't know why she was so stupid sometimes, but Daphne was getting better at it. "I'm never going to leave you," she mumbled, pulling out of the kiss. She meant it. Daphne loved him too much to even consider leaving him again. Truth was, had he seen what that whole conversation had done to her, he would not have been very proud.
