OOC |-| Alright, this thread is pretty much open for the threads you'd like to create. Have fun and be creative. All I ask is that you keep all NC-17 posts until after. No shagging under the tables, on the bar, or in a broom closet. Also, I'd like most to stay at least until the small plot twist which will be posted later using this account. It will make things a bit more interesting in the game. Thanks!

The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous as people mingled in the ballroom located in the heart of the Ministry of Magic Headquarters. Jewels sparkled and all in attendence were dressed in their finest. From the CRWM's point of view it was a night of celebration, their attempts at creating a new and better Wizarding Community were well on their way and the future looked bright for all, both Muggleborn and Pureblood alike.

Despite the seriousness of the evening, Minister Kinglsey Shaklebolt was not in attendance. Instead, he had left a representative in his stead, who had taken a moment to address the crowd, speaking of the hope and a positive future. The message had various reactions throughout the crowd. Many were hopeful, but just as many were not impressed and it could be seen. The speech and formalities did not last for very long before the guests were left to themselves to mingle and have a good time. The music was started, the bar was opened, and waiters moved through the crowd carrying both drinks and orderves.

"I know exactly what you mean. I always knew I'd be forced into a marriage, but least then I could tell my parents what guys I didn't want. Now I'm married to a guy with the biggest ego and who doesn't even acknowledge my existence. Right now he's probably shagging some dumb blonde in a bikini on what was supposed to be our honeymoon." Parvati realised she was ranting and shook her head.

"I'm sorry, Merlin. She hasn't been married off yet, has she? Why don't you two elope?" She finished her drink and waved over a waiter, grabbing another.

"At least someone agrees with me." More people probably did than just Parvati, but he was growing bitter with all the people coming in for wedding planning. Merlin, the happiest man in the world, was very unhappy. A slight warmth was beginning to settle in his stomach and the moment another waiter sneaked by he had his third glass.

"She's matched. Matched to a rock star, of all the people. It's hopeless, isn't it? Fuck the Ministry."

"A rock star? Who in the world? How does she feel about that? I mean, she's unhappy about it too, isn't she?" Parvati had never imagined Merlin could be so bitter. She did not know him that well, but she could tell easily enough he was usually a pretty happy guy.

"We should protest or something. And... I still think you should elope with her and get married."

"A rock star, from Pinball Wizard. I think she's going to like him and I think she'll suck it up and do it because she's.... I don't know. I just don't know." The warmth was shooting up his chest and his head was feeling awfully light.

"I am protesting. I'm going to.. to.. write them a letter!!" Yeah, that'd really show them. "She doesn't even know how I feel about her."

"You need to tell her then." This was sort of romantic. Parvati was a sucker for romance and smiled, hoping everything would turn out okay for Merlin. He deserved it.

"I don't think she'll fall for just any musician. Not when she has a great guy like you around. It'll be okay. You just have to stay positive." And don't give up fighting.
