WHO: Harry Potter [Open]
WHEN: Tuesday, June 24th
WHERE: One of his favourite Coffee Shops in Soho
WHAT: Getting a coffee ... cause that helps mental fatigue .... kinda
RATING: E for everyone!
STATUS: Open / In Progress

Harry, at the current moment, was not impressed. Not impressed at all, instead he was tired, distracted, irritable, guilty, and in a bit of pain. Not exactly the best mix of emotions to experience at the same time. If nothing else it had proved to be a bit hazardous to his health. He'd spent several hours making up for rescheduling the training class he was suppose to do on Sunday. Unfortunately, that had not gone well. He'd been so distracted by the mess he'd created with Daphne and his annoyance at George that his reflexes were well below what they normally were, resulting in not being able to move out of the way of a poorly cast blasting charm. In the long run, he was quite glad it had been poorly cast. He much preferred to have his sleeve catch on fire, rather then have a big hole in his side. Unfortunately for the caster, at the time, Harry had not thought of the positive side when he went off on him only to apologize later, once he cooled down a bit...literally.

Another fine example of how I love to make an arse out of myself. he thought with a sigh as he ordered his drink. Needless to say, he'd been excused from work for the rest of the day. At the moment, he had his sleeve rolled up and a bandage around the effected area of his arm. It wasn't anything serious and it would be gone by the morning, but it certainly stung like hell. He'd planned on simply going home to wait for the bloody day to be over, but he'd changed his mind. He felt like a strong cup of coffee and there was only one place he went for that. He wasn't in Soho very often, but when he was, he always made sure to stop by Maria's. For being a small cafe off the beaten path, it was remarkably good.

Once his was done, he took the cup in his good hand and grabbed a table off to the side and out of the way. Pulling out some of the paperwork he had intended to finish at home. He figured this was a good a spot as any to get some done. At least it offered better beverages then could be found in his own place.

Harry's eyebrows shot toward his hairline at the exclaimation. Speaking of Seamus, he thought, slightly amused. Seamus was about the only other person Harry knew with the same sort of ... enthusiasim.

There was a slight blush when she called him out on not knowing who she was. How embarassing that was, but he supposed it was better in a coffee shop then at a Ministry function. He would have never lived it down there. "Ah, yes, Seamus' parties usually had the tendency to go a bit blurry." Seamus' philosophy was 'what's a party without alcohol?' Harry personally thought it was one were he didn't end up throwing up, but he could be wrong.

He gave a shrug, with a slightly amused laugh. "Screwing up training sessions, signing accident release forms drinking coffee, and ticking people off." He responded, with a shrug. "A day in the life, I suppose. You?"

"Yeah, guess his bloody parties weren't too bad. Though the guy barely has fucking time to meet us at the pub nowadays. Busy and all. Bollocks." El rolled her eyes.

"Screwing up training sessions? How the fuck do you manage that, mate?" She smirked, pulling the slightly rumpled script from her bag and placing it on the table.

"I've turned into a theatre person. Actually I'm auditioning for 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' today. Knew that I'd never be one for a bloody normal job, like things how they are now. Acting I can do a lot of different things and wear fucking amazing costumes and so on, you know?"

Harry had never met anyone who swore as much as she did. They kept getting strange looks from those individuals around them. "Well, I suppose we've all been a bit busy with having to get married. It does tend to take a lot out of you, believe me I know."

He winced slightly at the obvious amusement at his screw up. "Apparently you're not suppose to turn your back on a rookie trying to cast a blasting charm." he responded wryly, before nursing his own coffee before it had a chance to get too cold.

Harry couldn't begin to imagine working as an actor. He had a hard enough time being himself let alone a thousand other characters in strange costumes, but he had to hand it to her. If she could hold that, then she was pretty much set. "Congrats. I hope the audition goes well, then."

As always El was completely oblivious to the other customers staring at them, and even if she had been aware of it she wouldn't have cared. If they were all too sensible to hear her talking than they should better leave.

"Married?" She wrinkled her nose. "Ah yeah right, bloody stupid decree from the ministry, right? So they've even married you off? Sucks, mate," Real sympathy swung in her voice as she tilted her head to the side a little.

"Nope, turning your back on someone doesn't sound like a good idea. Well, lesson learned, huh?" El smiled, glancing at his bandaged hand. "so that's where that one comes from, then? Jeez mate, be more careful."

Looking back at the script she shrugged.

"We'll see, but thanks anyway. Hey, if I get that fucking role you have to come to one of the performances, yeah? I'll get you tickets."

Harry shrugged on the marriage issue. "With the exception of the past day, marriage really hasn't been all that bad." In all honesty, it really hadn't been. Sure they'd argued, but who doesn't. The hard part was making up....which could take a bit of work, which he wasn't really looking forward to.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind going to see it. Gets me out of the house and the Ministry, which is needed." he responded, with an honest smile. "But you really don't have to get the tickets. I don't mind picking them up. It's not a big deal at all."

"Not?" El tilted her head to the side and chewed her bottom lip as she thought about it, almost nervously tracing the rim of her cup.

"I...don't know. To me it seems like a really really bad thing. I don't do well with guys. Relationship wise, I mean." True enough, there definitely wasn't a lack of interest, but everything that would even considered be a date turned into a night with a friend out. El had no idea how the behave around a guy in an none mate-ish way.

"You kidding? Course I'll get you tickets, mate. It's not like many people I know come to the performances anyway because most of the stupid gits I call mates think it is boring. So it'd be really nice if you'd come. Someone who actually knows that Shakespeare is not some sort of beer," She rolled her eyes with a smile.
