WHO: Harry Potter [Open] WHEN: Tuesday, June 24th WHERE: One of his favourite Coffee Shops in Soho WHAT: Getting a coffee ... cause that helps mental fatigue .... kinda RATING: E for everyone! STATUS: Open / In Progress
Harry, at the current moment, was not impressed. Not impressed at all, instead he was tired, distracted, irritable, guilty, and in a bit of pain. Not exactly the best mix of emotions to experience at the same time. If nothing else it had proved to be a bit hazardous to his health. He'd spent several hours making up for rescheduling the training class he was suppose to do on Sunday. Unfortunately, that had not gone well. He'd been so distracted by the mess he'd created with Daphne and his annoyance at George that his reflexes were well below what they normally were, resulting in not being able to move out of the way of a poorly cast blasting charm. In the long run, he was quite glad it had been poorly cast. He much preferred to have his sleeve catch on fire, rather then have a big hole in his side. Unfortunately for the caster, at the time, Harry had not thought of the positive side when he went off on him only to apologize later, once he cooled down a bit...literally.
Another fine example of how I love to make an arse out of myself. he thought with a sigh as he ordered his drink. Needless to say, he'd been excused from work for the rest of the day. At the moment, he had his sleeve rolled up and a bandage around the effected area of his arm. It wasn't anything serious and it would be gone by the morning, but it certainly stung like hell. He'd planned on simply going home to wait for the bloody day to be over, but he'd changed his mind. He felt like a strong cup of coffee and there was only one place he went for that. He wasn't in Soho very often, but when he was, he always made sure to stop by Maria's. For being a small cafe off the beaten path, it was remarkably good.
Once his was done, he took the cup in his good hand and grabbed a table off to the side and out of the way. Pulling out some of the paperwork he had intended to finish at home. He figured this was a good a spot as any to get some done. At least it offered better beverages then could be found in his own place.
