Half of my family was killed when I was Changed. I was thought to be a witch when I awakened. I was banished from my home, not understanding what I had become. I watched from afar, but it wasn't the same. The people I come from were one of the many societies I watched die out as time marched on. I watched every member of my family for generations whither and die before our society vanished.
