Okay. So something's happened. I'm thinking either a) I died a while back and this is Purgatory (set in NYC, of all places) or something like that, b) I'm having a really fucked up dream, c) I'm free, or d) Mojo's a lot more powerful than any of us realized and this is stage two of his weird kidnapping thing.

Speaking of, anyone find that name familiar? Mojo. He's a bad dude. How 'bout Batman? Robin? Superman? Flash? Anything? No?

Anyone? Bueller?

If any of you know me, I'd totally appreciate you reporting to me. I'm so fucking confused right now. My hair's not right and my face is different and maybe I've just finally snapped, who knows?

You should remember me, if you're here. I've been something like three... four months without a Bruce that remembers me. It sucks and is lame and you need to know me. So your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to say, "Oh hi, Carrie. I've missed you. Let's go kick some big bad ass!"

I know I talk a lot, so you don't need to tell me that I'm a chatterbox. ~~But I could probably forgive you a nickname this once in celebration of the fact that you exist here.~~

Well, about a year and a half ago, give or take some change, you popped into this universe and made a home for yourself, got in tight with the Batfolks, et cetera. And strange things tend to happen for no apparent reason, so in this particular case, people have been transforming into different... versions of themselves, if you will. The self that made a different decision, that had a different thing happen to them.

So the you that you think you are (as opposed to the you that you physically are just arrived.

And Batman and Robin are not as you know them right now. Ever heard of Adam West?

Well, there's a universe where Batman's story was made into a campy TV show in the sixties, and that's the version of Batman that's occupying the real Batman's brain right now. So he might not know you, but he doesn't know much of anything besides killer dance moves.

A lot of people come from universes where our identities are public knowledge, so they're not really secret to anyone with an internet connection. Bruce likes to pretend that isn't the case, but you know Bruce.
