So the Fourth of July ceremonies weren't as bad as I feared. It felt good being in the army dress uniform..

..I just wish someone would tell parents that not everyone thinks that hyper-active kids are cute-they could've atleast been quite during the ceremonies.

I talked to my commanding officer and gave him your resume-with some..'adjustments', he's interested. You'll have to come in for an interview several screenings for security, and I'll tell you now that you won't be allowed into combat situations.

But that aside, you still up for the offer?

thanks for last night..and this morning. When do you want the car back? Parking's a bitch here and I'd rather not deal with it.

	Even so, I'm gonna return it when I finish moving into the mansion..you've any idea how much trouble it's worth finding a parking spot? Not to mention gas prices-it's the damn principle of the thing. it's a nice car though. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Kinda like a certain one-eyed mortal we used to know. I think I just saw a snow flurry in hell for a minute there, but I'll move in just the same (I think I almost miss you, too). Sounds like the idea of a penthouse suite's becoming more and more appealing? We could certainly afford it if we sold the place. Either way would be fine with me either way. Honestly Shang, as nice and as grand as the mansion is, it's too big for me.

Going several days without killing anyone? That's a record for you. Though...I can't say I'm a big fan of cigarettes either.

The extravagance of the mansion suits me fine. I couldn't imagine having anything smaller... though something larger may fulfill my needs. I'm not exactly sure how much of the Earthrealm currency I possess, but I imagine I have enough to do about anything.

Yes, it has been too long since I've killed someone. I never thought I enjoyed it as much as I really do. Perhaps these servants will feel my wrath if they don't shape up!

Different strokes I guess. To give you an idea, the hotel chain you own is specifically aimed towards business men and other wealthy clients-you're pretty much set for life. Think we could set up one of the rooms for a training and sparring area?

Haven't you ever heard of firing? I'm sure there are other, more reliable people that wouldn't mind the extra pay. It would be hard finding and keeping servants if they found that their boss killed his former ones.

..you didn't here this from me, but...try hunting around in the more upscale areas of town at night, you'll find some interesting query. Both of us are aware that most people of influence don't lead very 'clean' lives.

	Thank for for the tip, I will definitely keep that in mind. Yes, we could make a room into a sparring room, I have so many extra rooms I don't know what to do with them. 	Don't worry, you're too interesting for me to want to try anything of that sort. Oh, reminds me, I finished packing up and signing the lease papers-would've done so yesterday but the landlord was away because of the holiday.
