So, it's me and the puppy tonight. By ourselves. We already played chase and fetch up and down the stairs. Had dinner, watched TV, and now we're both bored.

Anybody want to come by for a visit? We've got Popsicles!

She really is.

And even after playing fetch up and down the stairs she's still wagging her tail so hard her feet keep sliding. So much energy.

Mr. Biggles is sort of like that!

He's a crazy little thing.

You have a dog named Mr. Biggles?

Not that I should laugh, really, Dean had a chipmunk once that he named Senor Squeaks.

Well, my dad named him. He's kind of a silly guy sometimes and Mr. Biggles is a silly looking dog!

See?

Aww, he's adorable though, are his legs really that stubby?

They are! He doesn't really run. He sort of...toddles around!

That's awesome.

Roxy runs, and then sometimes forgets to stop the back legs after she's stopped the front ones.

Haaaa! I'm sure that's really cute! Dogs are so funny sometimes.

They really are, and it's kind of sad that she's better on the stairs than I am. Guess she got used to her legs faster than I did or something.

You aren't used to having legs?

I'm getting used to them, but I was a car before I came here, so I've only had them for a couple months now.

You were a car? As in...an automobile?

Woah.

Yeah, I was, and as much as I have trouble with walking upright sometimes, fingers are way much more entertaining than wheels and doors.

I can only imagine. I can't dream of not having fingers.

Yeah, it's one of those things that catches me by surprise sometimes, just soft of 'oh yeah, I need to remember to eat' or 'right, pants first, then shoes.'

I'm a mechanic though, so I kind of need them while I'm at work.

Why would they want you to wear them at school? Don't you pretty much stay in one place for school?

Not really. We go play on the playground and stuff but...I prefer to run around in the grass.

They still think I could get hurt and I guess the Prince's son isn't supposed to get hurt. I don't know. It sorta sucks.

But, okay, this might sound bad, I don't know, don't have much experience with kids, but how are you supposed to learn anything if you don't get banged up sometimes? Skinned knees are good for you!
