Mia, if you're up for some dinner tomorrow night, I'd enjoy it. For some reason, my birthday this year is depressing me and I'd love the company.

I hate birthdays.

Birthdays are a double edged sword.
You can have cake, get gifts, and have an excuse to throw down a spectacular party, and even THEN, you're confronted with the fact that someone might ruin the party, the gifts are shitty, and the cake isn't very good.

And to top it all off? You're a year older. Another year gone down the shitter for you to wonder where that year went.

... Succinctly put, birthdays can suck it.

I probably shouldn't be telling you this when you're drunk, but it looks like you have two choices. You can either sleep with him or get over him. Otherwise you're going to be mooning over him for the rest of your life (or a very, very long time) and that's going to impact hunting for artifacts. If age matters that much to you, get over him. If you decide you'd rather go with your feelings, then just do it.

I can't believe I just told you to sleep with a 16 year old. If you remember this conversation tomorrow I will deny all of it.
