ATTENTION FUTURE-KIDS AND SUNDRY OTHERS!

Laaadies, gontlemen, we now have only 34 days (which is including 4 full weekends) before Halloween.
Do we have a master plan? Do we have a few smaller plans that we can stitch together Dr. Frankenstein style to make a master plan?

In that same vein: The Boutique is open once again starting this weekend, and as usual is the Halloween Boo-Tique for all your costume creation/repair/rebuild needs!

VICTORY. Are you wearing a costume or is that too much?

I hadn't given it much thought.

Feelings about the circus?

It could be a theme: 1930s circus. I might be convinced to give up ringmaster if you were anti-strongman.

I couldn't pull off that mustache, Dagny.

Faux-stache? You could faux-stache.

...or I could let go of this idea and come up with a better one. Uh. Uhhhh. Speed Racer. It's crazy Sixties, but you'd have a helmet. In event of a zombie apocalypse, your skull would be protected.

I never really watched Speed Racer.

What about Scooby Doo?

Oh, hey. So who would you pick, Shaggy or Fred?

Well, with the hair. I think it's probably best if I went as Shaggy. Jimmy or Thomas could be Fred maybe.

Leandra or Christy would have to be Daphne, and Em and I would need to arm-wrestle over Thelma. Or someone could just suck it up and wear the dog suit. I mean, plus side: snacks.

Excuse me for interjecting, but her name is Velma, not Thema. I took her to the Junior Prom, before she and Shaggy got serious.

I don't know what's more disturbing, that I got her name wrong or that somehow the Shaggy/Velma subtext escaped me. She was dating Shaggy? Dude, usually I have such good radar for this stuff.

Well it didn't really last all that long, just most of Senior year.

I think it was probably just a side effect of them being thrown together so much as part of Mystery, Inc. Anyway, She got Shaggy cleaned up, and was picking out his clothes, until finally he said enough is enough. So they went back to being "just friends".

For some reason she said it was Scooby's fault. I can't see how the poor dog could have done anything.
