You know what's gross? Sulfur-tinged ectoplasm. It takes nearly a whole tube of Goop to get it and the smell off.
Speaking of, is there anyone around anymore who might be able to take care of a little problem up in Scotland that's above my experience level? I'd call my guy, but he's got baby twins and I don't want to drag him away from that.

	The malevolent spirit kind. I'd say it's a demon, but demons don't usually leave ectoplasm as a calling card. I'd usually deal with it myself since it's a spirit, but it's... well, it's pretty powerful. Whatever it is, I haven't run across anything like it before, so I'm hesitant to try traditional tactics. You don't have to tell me about evil wizards, I've run afoul of them in my time working on paranormal research. This is pretty close to that in terms of Oh Hell No.

Oh hey, yeah, I think I might have heard of you, or er, at least your world. I'm not really up on the whole magic using side of this world yet, since I'm a man of science, myself. But it's good to know that magic exists, such as it is. Getting another perspective on things is really useful in this sort of case, too.

I dunno, it hasn't spread from the house it's attached to. Yet. But if I can get some ideas together to get rid of the thing, or even just an investigatory team out with me for the follow-up visit, I'd like to see what we can do about the thing.
