You ain't going to believe me even when I tell you.

Sit down.

You've gone and made it to Earth That Was, or ... something close enough as far as the history goes. And me? Well, you know me real well, better than anybody, I bet, even the captain.

... you're Serenity.

I don't know how, but you are, and what the hell, who am I kidding, I'm dead and this is just some sort of really, really weird afterlife.

That I am. And honestly, I thought that too, the first time, because, I mean, c'mon. Arms.

But now it happened again, and you guys keep falling out of the damn sky, Jayne and River already, now you.

Where'd you end up? I'll buy you dinner.

Haven't seen her, doesn't mean she's not here though. You know she'd probably lay low for a while, figure things out.

There's a few places around here look like that. I'm going to guess you landed in either London or New York. Folk there sound like our old friend Badger?

Friend is an awful loose term.

No. They're a lot louder, and there's a crapton of them.

Well, yeah, and mostly meant it as a sarcastic tone, but that's hard to tell in text.

What I meant is do they talk the same way he does, if they do, you're in London, if they don't, you're probably in New York. I ended up in California, replaced a student.

Yeah, guess it must be New York. On Earth That Was.

This is wild.

At least you ended up in the one with the good food. I'll be there in two shakes. Gimmie a landmark, street sign, something.

Okay! You're gonna want to head north until you see a statue of a guy in a coat, he's got some red arena seats behind him. I'll be able to find you there better than in the crowd.
