So, I've, uh, got a job. Just a part-time one, working at an animal shelter. They can only pay me for one day a week, but I agreed to volunteer on some of the other days. I still don't like the cages, but at least they're getting cared for. And they need help, and I can help keep them healthy, so that's good.

...I'm really not good at small talk. And they probably won't all disappear like Nuriko did. I know I shouldn't hover. Just...wanted to check.

	Well, so have I, but they were always supposed to be more temporary. I'm trying to think of this one as being less temporary. I've never actually tried to settle anywhere, it was never an option. But I suppose I want somewhere to come back to after I've been wandering. It's not making me paranoid but it's certainly out of my experience. (Reply to this) (Parent)
