Whooo, now I'm all dizzy. I don't suppose anyone else noticed the... oh schize, I am not supposed to be here yet.

Melly? Tomtom? Gai? Stef? Anybody?

I'm late to the welcome party? This'll teach me to go out flying.

Melora's probably right that Uncle Varric will let you stay over for a while. Just avoid his study, strange things happen in there.

Psh, you know our parties don't really get going until we're all there. Which, now that I'm here means the super-awesome-fun parties can start.

Yeeeeah, I know that one.

There'd better be cake. Parties of that level need cake, as well as enough alcohol to knock Gaius out.

On the plus side, our parents are well-behaved! Whenever we're in the house, at least...

Totally cake, and I don't know if that much alcohol exists, but we're making a good start!

Yeah, mine are too, so that's good, I just ... you know, they're still new here, if I'm not mistaken, and I don't want to break Papa's brain too bad.

He'll find a way to knock himself out. Probably by inventing a spell whilst off his face.

Nothing says you have to tell them straight away. You could let them have a little time, wait until the right sort of moment comes... it'd probably work better than just wandering in and going "I'm your child from the future!"

Those either turn out awesome or really super bad. There's not much middle ground.

Yeah, like I told Gai, I'm going to break it to Dad first, since he probably already knows, and let him get Papa used to the idea before inviting myself over to dinner.

The middle ground is explosions. Not always of the bad kind, sometimes of the pink-confetti-with-shiny-bits kind.

And nobody should faint. See, this is why you should've come along earlier, we would've avoided a lot of awkward situations.

And also the randomly-messy kind! You remember the one that was Fettuccine Alfredo, right?

But if I'd come along earlier they'd just be two guys, they wouldn't be my dads, you know? I mean, it's just now October. I know the story! Sadako's told it to me about a bajillion times.

I really wish I didn't. Took forever to clean up, even with magic.

Damn you and your logic.

One of these days we really ought to just make him a list of things he's not allowed to try when there's been alcohol consumed.

And one of us has to have some! Make up for the rest of you lot!

Psh, no, but we all know you shouldn't try to invent new spells when we've all been drinking.

It really doesn't happen that often. And usually I am trying a spell I know, it just becomes a brand new spell.

Okay, that's a fair point. And to be doubly-fair, I shouldn't use my powers when there's been alcohol either. You remember the Plaid Carpet incident, I'm sure.

Oh! And that time I got stuck as blue kitchen sponge and you guys kept using me to soak up spills all night. Good lord I was hungover the next morning.

But at least you guys all took turns babysitting me and making sure I had hangover cures, so, it turned out okay, in the end.
