I feel cut off here. The Fade's so silent, so... wrong.

I can't be the only one who's noticed that, right? I know I'm not exactly a 'regular' mage, but... still.

Edit: Actually, whilst I'm talking about the Fade... there's a Witch of the Wilds around here called Morrigan, isn't there? Just have to check.

	My dad can't freeze things, just blow them up. But my mom used to cast Water on me until I stopped fussing. ... if I was really being a shit, she'd cast Blizzard and Water at the same time. Yeah, I think so too. I was born here, if that tells you anything. Mom's from Spira, and Dad's from an Earth that's ... not this one. Weirdness abounds, man. (Reply to this) (Parent)

I apologize for my son's rudeness; he is currently feeling a bit emotionally fragile due to a recent divorce. While that is no excuse, I feel as if I should extend an olive branch on his behalf.

In terms of magic; I always assumed that it came from Aeons - beings of great power in my homeland. However, I assisted in their needful death at home. Due to their demise, I am no longer certain of where my magic stems, simply that I am a black mage, as is my eldest son. My youngest son is already showing an affinity with white magic.

	I'm used to the occasional rudeness. He's actually fairly pleasant, compared to some I've known. That's a bit similar to how things are where I come from. In my world, it's thought that the Old Gods had something to do with the mages being created... the only difference being that some of them are still around, just sleeping.
