	Well, for what usual babies like to eat, he's definitely got weird tastes. He recently cut his first tooth and refused to gnaw on anything BUT the frozen carrots we gave him. And he really likes corned beef mash. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Sugar in moderation. I've never had problems with giving kids sugar, it's just important not to go overboard with it. Sometimes-foods, Soren. It's why we bake two batches of cookies at a time. Big-people cookies and little-people cookies, one with reduced sugar and margarine instead of butter, and the full sugar and real butter variety. That way, if the kids get into the cookies, they're at least getting into stuff that won't set them on the road to obesity or heart disease. And if you keep healthful sweet snacks like applesauce or fruit leather around, and cut down the amount of actual candy you have in the house, they really WILL enjoy that stuff. Candy's only for really special occasions.

And in a few years, you'll be lecturing people how to keep their kids from eating junk food all the time, too! Just like me!
