	I don't think I ruined his life. He was a drunkard when I met him, and was doing a perfectly fine job of ruining his own life. I think he pities me, and misconstrues it as affection. What you consider patronizing, I considered civility. Would you like me to stop that as well? I was apologizing for your current predicament, which, by all rights I don't have to. I did nothing. I've not left my apartment in some time. I haven't touched your car, nor would I again, lest you and your mother swoop down upon me for feeding off of him once.

	Fine, then stay away from him all together. Don't even talk to him. Because he's back to drinking and he's back to talking to you and neither one of those things are good for him. 	I didn't make him drink, but of course, I'll do as you say out of concern for my person. Irrationally jealous deities and half-deities would interfere with business.
