Tornadoes in this town? That's not normal.

We've had a few... cases. Nothing big. I've been waitin' on a call back from Nate, myself.

[Sophie] The boozin's gettin' worse. Parker and Eliot wanna hold... bit of a different intervention. At least until we can think of something else.

Nice. I'm not sure if I'm ready for life on the up-and-up.

[Hardison] Really? How can on one at Betty Ford realize he's drinking? What sort of intervention are you planning?

At least you had one. Like I wanna go back to eatin' ramen an' livin' in some hovel. Forget that.

[Sophie]
He like, runs the joint or somethin'. Last name joke, on top of it all.

Parker and Eliot wanna tie him down. Make him detox. I am going along with it only because if we don't, he's gonna end up killin' himself.

Tying him down will dry him out, but he'll just go find the nearest liquor store as soon as they let him go. I worry about him. Don't suppose we can con him back into therapy.

Yeah, I know, but.

I have not seen him sober since he got here. At all. An' short of drumming up a fake DUI for him and getting him sent to rehab, I dunno what to do.

Parker says he doesn't think the team wants him around? Do we have a plan?

He's been a bastard, but I've been tryin' to get him in on our jobs. He showed up latest, 'fore you, I think he's pissed we went on without him? But the itch, man. Parker an' Eliot weren't gonna sit still long.

As for plan... no. We're still workin' it out. Recovery from a job in Vegas.

He's always been a bit of a bastard though. We've known that from before this all started.

It's not going to be easy. The sooner the better, I'd think.

I distinctly remember having to trash twenty large in servers because of how much of a bastard the guy is. But that's not self-loathing bastard. Even the attempts at anger are half-assed.

I know it ain't gonna be easy, but we need to do it. An' yeah, soon as we can. We just have to figure out part two.

Part one being the snag and bag, I assume? that part should be rather easy, and I'm sure you've already thought of all the details needed there. So we hold him for... what? A few days? A week? And hope he sees reason?

Has he said why he doesn't want to reorganize the team?

Yeah- that's gonna be easy enough. Man sleeps like the dead after a fifth of whiskey. We could probably pick him up without him even knowing it; I know where he lives an' all. An' I say we hold him as long as it takes. We can beg him off work.

I. No, he hasn't. He hasn't been talkin' to me much at all.

Work ought not be a problem... just hack their HR and set him as off for vacation. But I'm guessing you've thought of that.

You know, once we've dried him out, we might just have to be straight with him. No con. Maybe we're overthinking that part?

That was the plan, yeah. I'm talkin' more what's gonna happen when he tells us all to fuck off.

Because you know a group hug ain't gonna solve this shit.

Yes. That's going to be tough. And expressing we can't work with him like this won't help, if he doesn't want to reorganize the team.

I'll see if he'll talk to me. Tell me why. Maybe it will give us a direction.

You're probably the only one of us he'll listen to. Go for it.

An' if you need back up, bribes, whatever. Gimme an hour's notice, I'll work it out.
