She's lasted me longer than some men and lots of friends have, I'd hate to lose her anytime soon. Don't tell me she tries to chase you when you're in bird form or whatever? That sounds generous. Yeah, pretty much. And there's a lot of overlap, on top of everything. I go where the action is.

Oh, she does sometimes, but she can't exactly catch me. I'm smarter than your average hawk.

Honestly? It passes the time. After Jake digests the first war, he realizes that we can't really get away from the good fight. They help out on cases they we have knowledge on, some alien encounters, things like that.
