Sure do. Isn't the first time I've been shafted into an alternate universe.

The first one was some post-apocalyptic world with some fucked up 50's art deco touches. Been told it used to be a Jetsons-type futuretech world, then the idiots bombed the fuck out of each other and we ended up with the Capital Wasteland.

Name's Marco, by the by. Nice to meet you.

I don't know who made it. I'm guessing it was a child, or else someone would fix it, right?

As for your younger you? I don't know if he knew I was a Muse. But he can dance quite well. It was a very enjoyable evening he threw together.

You do have some friends here... Or the other you does? At least, from what I gathered in other conversations? Umm, a Jake, a Tobias, a Rachael, a David? Maybe more. Though some you may have met here? And you went out for coffee with Jean Grey.

David's...not someone I'd call a friend. If he's here, he's on his own. I don't hate him, but I'm definitely not gonna hang out with him, either. Jake, Tobias, and Rachel are friends, though. Guess they didn't recognize me, not that I blame them.

It did! Thanks. You wouldn't happen to know where to get a concealed carry permit, do you? People are starting to stare. Guess they don't see a guy with two handguns, an assault rifle, an energy sword, and a bandoleer of grenades every day.

I don't think a permit to carry covers grenades... but I could be wrong? There's always the option of not carrying them around. On the plus side, since there's no such thing as an an energy sword here, they're probably not illegal.

As to where to get one, I'd think it depends totally on where you are. But it's Sunday I think. So most places are closed.

I'm sure you still have a groove. You've aged well, if that's anything.

	You could just... avoid the cops? The eyepatch is actually rather dashing. But then, I'm used to scars being a thing of honor. it's really only recently you guy starting really racking up the body count rather then sending most people home from battled injured for life. Eh, they still are a thing of honor. The eye...really isn't. It was my first real introduction to the Capital Wasteland. I got duped by this guy. He told me his daughter had been brainwashed by some cult leading nutjob and ran away with him, and that if she resisted I was to knock her out and bring her back to him. He had people to testify on his behalf, so I figured he was on the up-and-up.

Turns out? He was some crazy ex-general, and he was insanely controlling and abusive towards his daughter. The guy she ran away with, guy I had to maim to even get to her, was her fiance, and I'd just handed her back over to a guy that was probably gonna beat her black and blue for days.

The eye was what happened when I brought her back and he decided to cover it up. Dodged fast enough to avoid death, but it came down to buying a cybernetic replacement or a couple shots of anti-rad meds. Hadn't found any clinics that month, so I had to go with the anti-rads.

Learning experience, that.

	Truthfully? I was trying to get paid, the noble thing just happened to be the first paying gig that came along. Although, to be fair, I wouldn't have done it back then if I'd known the whole situation. The caps weren't worth the eye, or the other stuff. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
