You aren't. You care about them a lot, and agreed to help them in a time of need, giving clothes, time, and energy. Hell, we flew across countries, went shopping, and took them into our home.

None of that is selfish.

And you care. You extend your heart, and you give a damn, which is far more than most ever do. You are not selfish for wanting arguing to stop.
