So I've been thinking, which is sometimes a dangerous prospect as my husband will tell you.

But! With all the new mothers and soon-to-be-new-mothers around, maaaaaybe we should start up some sort of mom's outing club, either with the kiddos or without, depending on what we need. I'm thinking monthly? Weekly is too often, and bi-weekly is just confusing.

Babysitters and older siblings would be welcome as well of course, because it's only fair.

Does anyone else think this is a good idea? Or am I just letting the cookies do the talking again?

I'd come.

You're the future Miss Soren's Mom, right? Be happy to have you, even if it ends up just being the two of us.

That would be me, though Lulu works just as well.

Well it's good to meet you finally.

You know, technically. I'm Brenda Annn if you didn't figure that out already.

It's nice to meet you too, Brenda Annn. I've heard so much about you.

Not all of it good I hope, ruins all the fun that way.

Ah well, guess I'll just have to whip out the sign again.

It says: "Caution, I bite when provoked"

Good, the more the merrier!

I'm Brenda Annn (yes, with three Ns) Turner, Teague's wife, he tends to know more people than I do, so if you haven't heard of me you may have heard of him.

I'm Sam Winchester's um, girlfriend. I don't believe I've met your husband, but this sounds exciting.

We're having a son.

We've got one ^_^

In fact, we've got him here at five and a half months old, and we've got him here at... uh, hell if I know, I think he's only barely younger than my 24 though.

And Sam Dean's brother Sam?

And congratulations on your others. Same. Whichever.

Heh, mostly we call them 'baby-Cass' and 'Cass' or sometimes 'huge Cass' Though I think Torii's taken to calling him Bump like she does our younger brother who's inexplicably older than she is, only by a year, but still.

He wasn't even conceived when I was last home, and he was barely a bump when she got yanked here.

This whole place is entirely too confusing at times. Cass, baby-Cass, huge Cass and... Bump.

I think I like your family.

We're a lot of fun. Me and Teague, and Teague's half brother Miniver, and Torii (my baby sister) and Teja (the older-baby brother) and Cass (both of them) and Cass' ... uh, Cass' Soren, Cass' girlfriend Henn and Soren's girlfriend Sable who's also Miniver's daughter.

... wow, that is confusing, I might have to make up a flow chart or something.

And I'm expecting twins.

It's nice to meet you, Brenda.

Ouch. Only real advice I've got as far as the actual pregnancy goes is that that last month all you want to do is poke at the bump and say: "Pack your bags! You're evicted!"

Anyway, if you've got any ideas as far as outings etc. feel free to pipe up, I'll be doing some research by way of parks and things, maybe some good ice cream shops.

I dunno. . . the shooting range is my idea of relaxing, but I don't want to deafen the kids.

So, um, failing that, ice cream is always awesome.

It sure is!

And I bet we could find an archery range, all the fun, none of the noise.

And archery competitions are more fun than marksmanship ones anyway.

At least as far as I've always figured. Mostly it's the noise factor, and it's hard to have proper panache with a handgun.

I don't know. I've seen some pretty slick gunslingers.

But archery's safer to teach children, too.

That too. And I bet my kid sister who's also my babysitter and possibly the older-baby would like to come too, don't know how big-Cass is around arrows.

I'll ask him next time he comes by to organize the kitchen. See if he's got any other ideas where a group of moms with another group of sprogs can gather and not get bored.

He's eerily good at knowing that kind of thing.

People who know things are always a valuable asset.

When you're ready to get together, I'll probably be open to hang out.

Great! I'll probably get more organized sometime soon, don't figure we'll really be starting before the new year, unless we kick it off with a midwinter outing, snowball fight or something.

I'll definitely let you know though!
