My riding habit is gone. I woke up on the ground missing vital pieces of my wardrobe. I'm in a cottage I don't recognize, working a contraption with more buttons than most of my dresses.

I demand an explanation.

To be frank, one would think that being transported to the New World (and in the future no less) would be impossible, and yet it has happened to all of us.

Even so, it is truly thrilling in this time. Why, when I had first appeared here, I discovered that I was in charge of an Interior Decorating company. To think that a woman in this day and age could work outside the home and still be respected.
