The past week had been a mess. Terry had tried more than anything to be patient and loving when James was sick. Actually, he had pretty much succeeded. Well, it wasn't his fault that Terry had come out of the shower, waiting for James to come home, and only found a knock on the door. Always the gracious host, he had invited the Coach in and decided to tell him tales of when James was in school. Excluding the magic, of course.

"So then it came up that he hadn't gone missing again, he had just gotten so drunk he couldn't make it back to school." Terry smiled, running a hand through his hair.

If there was one thing Terry could count on, it was that James was impossible when half asleep. The worst part was that he had been so close and... He whimpered when he was pulled close by James again. "Damn you." Terry mumbled, trying to figure out what to do. "Yes." He had meant for that to come out calmly, but Terry's voice was only a whimper. "You are keeping me from sleeping." It figured just the sound of James' voice, rough with sleep, made him even more needy. His lips parted as he tried to control his breathing, but he was getting frustrated.
