Who: Sharon Carter & Dean Winchester.
When: Tuesday November 24th, about an hour after this.
Where: Dean's apartment in the lodge.
What: Sharon stops by to tell Dean that Jo is gone.
Rating: TBD, but I'd expect language and possibly some other dark shit.
Status: Incomplete/ongoing.
Sharon had suspected before she even started looking into it that she wouldn't find her missing roommate. It was hard to tell in Breck if someone was missing or just gone, but more often than not, missing meant sent home. This didn't fit the pattern of random abductions, such as it was. There were no others missing and these things usually went in groups. People being sent home, though, that was unpredictable at best. Sometimes it was one person, something it was multiples. Either way, when someone went missing in Breckenridge, there was a pretty high likelihood that they'd been sent back. She put some people on it, anyway, sending some out to hit the streets while she enlisted some magical help as well. She'd experienced enough, especially since coming here, to know that sometimes magic could help. It could provide answers more traditional means couldn't. It could provide them faster, at any rate, and she'd promised Dean she would have something within the hour. Now she was on her way to his apartment with those answers, but it wasn't anything he wanted to hear. It wasn't news she was really looking forward to delivering. Sharon walked briskly down the hallway toward Dean's apartment, hardly noticing when she started to smooth imaginary wrinkles and barely cognizant of pulling the tie from her hair, letting it fall around her shoulders. Wanting to look good for Dean Winchester, even on a subconscious level was stupid. Which is why she wasn't acknowledging any lingering attraction she might be feeling for her friend. That's what he was. That's probably what he was going to need now. She steeled herself for the task of telling him Jo was gone, careful not to show any emotion on her face as she raised her hand to knock on his door. Sharon was pretty sure some part of Dean already knew what she was going to tell him, but she still didn't want it to be obvious on her face before she found the word to tell him what she'd learned in the past 55 minutes. |
