Antoine's attention was drawn by the beautiful figure crossing in front of him. Young, but rather appealing nonetheless. Wondering why the girl looked so familiar, he was thrown to hear Nell's voice come from those lips.

Shaking himself, he smiled a little. Nell had been right - he could easily pass for a girl. Setting his drink down, he turned his full attention on the young boy. "Beautiful, mignonne, simply beautiful." Pushing the thoughts from his mind that had filled it at the sight, he smiled. "What an unexpected pleasure to see you here tonight."

	Nell smiled, a little shyly and smoothed down the skirts of his dress. "I was invited; well both Harry and I were, by Lord Hurst." He said. "I'm rather delighted to see you here too. I keep hearing your name, you seem to be very popular this evening." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

With a smile, Antoine nodded. "Well, I'm rather glad you were invited. I've missed you these last days." Antoine didn't worry about letting too much slip - he had missed the boy so why not tell him? However, he was stopped by the mention of people talking about him. Frowning, he tilted his head to the side. Why would people be mentioning his name? "Are you sure it's me that they've been talking about?" He knew a moment of worry, but figured it was nothing.

	Nell nodded earnestly. "Oh yes, about you being a brave rescuer, saving our hostess. I have to say I'm terribly impressed." He was as well. He didn’t associate the rich with getting their hands dirty, and yet here was Antoine facing down a thief (and one with a knife he’d heard) for some girl’s honour. It was exciting. Ahhh. So that's what they were talking about. He could accept that. It was bound to make the people in the room that he needed to impress look at him a little better. Leaning his head down a little, he whispered to Nell. "I have to say that of all the accolades I've received over the rescue, I am most happy about yours. I like to know that I've impressed you, mignonne." It hadn't been as much as people - he was sure - were making it out to be, but he wouldn't complain about it.

That sweet blush sent a shiver down Antoine's spine. He never ceased to be amazed that the boy - with what he did for a living - could blush. Smiling, he nodded. "Ahhh, then I shall be sure to make it to the theatre again soon. I am anxious to know what this is that I shall be receiving."

Looking left to right, he smiled a bit. "Would you care to accompany me for a little walk? I promise that I shall reward the loss of your time, however you decide would be best, but I do miss being in your company."

	"I'd love to take a walk with you." Nell said, taking Antoine's arm, rather hoping the lady hostess did not see them as he doubted from what he'd heard she'd be terribly happy. Antoine was not worried about people seeing them tonight. After all, to everyone else Nell was a girl. Even he had made that mistake at first - and he was intimately acquainted with his body. Placing his hand on Nell's he guided him out of the house onto the terrace so they could talk without being crunched - or oeverheard. "I like spending time with you too, mon amour. I know you are a guest. I do hope that I didn't offend you. It was meant to be a...playful statement."

	"Oh no." Nell said, shaking his head and smiling up at Antoine. "You didn't offend me, not at all. I just wanted to tell you so you understood you wouldn't need to pay me for spending anytime with you, and that anything I did," He reached up, kissing the man on the cheek. When they'd walked outside, Antoine had kept his eyes on the terrace, finding a little out of the way corner in which they could talk - or whatever - out of eyesight. Grateful for that when he felt Nell's lips on his cheek, he smiled down at him. "Well, I must admit that it's nice to know that you wish to be around me in your free time." Wrapping his arms around the boy, he hugged him and smiled. "Although, I have to admit that paying you with coin wasn't all that was on my mind." He liked teasing Nell, making him smile.

Antoine was still a little confused as to why people were talking about his rescuing the young Miss Hurst. He might not be the nicest person in the world but he had far too much respect for women to allow one to be hurt in anyway. However, if it allowed people to view him favourably he'd simply tolerate it. Smiling down at Nell, he lifted a hand to touch his cheek and slide down to run over his shoulder. "I have not thought that far ahead, mignonne. I simply want to ensure that you know that I enjoy your company...that I want to give you as much pleasure as is possible." He leaned down and kissed both of his cheeks.
