When she heard the knock on the door, Thérèse looked up, and smiled when she saw Christopher enter. Christopher's company was always appreciated nowadays; she'd grown rather fond of him in return. He was sweet, and accomodating, and gentle. Understanding, too. And similarly, she couldn't deny the feelings bubbling beneath the surface. "Oh, hello." She smiled wider as he did, glancing back down at her needlework to finish pulling her thread for a moment before she looked back at him.
"I require nothing, thank you... but a night cap sounds agreeable. If you would come join me while I finish my work, that would be lovely, too. Company is always appreciated."
