Subject: The first part of Slater's plan Who: Ann Wayland Where: Ann's new Tavern Warnings: None as yet - possible violence Open to: Jimmy Slater
Thanks to Constance's enquiries, and the help of Harry's recommended friend, Ann now had herself a spanking new Tavern which she had named the Avery after Arhur's beloved late brother as he'd wanted. It had not had its official opening night yet but she was waiting for the opportune moment to have one. Located so near to Madam Isobel's and Harry's theatre, she felt safe in the knowledge that she'd do good business and so far, in the three nights it had been open, she had been proven right. No trouble, good drinkers, random sing songs... it was just like the old times.
Apart from the fact her dear Arthur was nowhere around to help her, to share jokes, to listen to the stories punters had to tell. As she cleaned down the bar she sighed, sadly remembering his face and the way he used to light up at the sight of his customers having a good time. She'd have to get over him somehow.
