"I don't like leeches much either. Horrible things." He agrees, smiling slightly, before pressing the handkerchief to her finger. "And, tell you truth, I wouldn't let one near me, even I were dying." He shrugs, pulling the handkerchief from her finger, and nodding at it, "Much better. Can't be bleeding all over your present, can you?"
"I don't know. It doesn't seem to have done Eward much harm. But of course, we say that as those who love him most." He grins, obviously implying something else.
"Now, this present. Sit down, and you can have it before breakfast." He says, aware of its weight in his inside pocket.
