"It was by a complete stroke of luck that I found your theatre, sir, as I am looking to hire an acting troupe to perform a short play at a party my father is hosting. Is there any chance you might be interested?" Charles said, trying to dampen his excitement so he didn't seem overzealous. He considered for a moment that his father might not like the idea, but quickly quashed those thoughts. Lord Hurst enjoyed theatrical performances as much as his son did. And this would be a very special performance. Charles had never seen one of his works performed outside of his own mind.
He thought that the piece with the smaller cast would be best, considering the actors would likely have to be provided with overnight lodging. It would have to be For the Love of Georgette, which had a minimum cast of four. Ideally there would be six or seven to make the party scene more realistic, but Charles doubted his father would be open to housing that many additional people on short notice. The play was high on drama, fast paced, and would be sure to entertain.
