Abigail hadn't seen her brother in quite a few days. The house was quiet, tense; the atmosphere colder than usual. Edith still didn't seem to be talking to Eward, and he didn't appear to want to speak to any of them at all lately. Abigail couldn't help but worry. She knew that he still came and went, receiving visitors and going off to see this person or that or whatnot. Still. She missed him; she couldn't help it.

She had just come in from the garden, bringing her roses back to her room and setting some up in the dining room-- she just loved how they brightened up the table, even if nobody else seemed to notice. And then, because she hadn't even heard from Eward in a few days, she thought she would check up on him. The servants had said that he hadn't even come out for breakfast, so she fixed up a tray, thinking to bring it in to him. She couldn't have him starve on them, could she?

It wasn't long before she had it ready, and she approached his study, adjusting her hold on the tray as she brought a hand up to knock lightly on the door. There was no response at first, so she turned the handle and stepped inside. "Eward?"

Eward nodded, his smile still on his face just smaller than before. She was very thoughtful, more than Edith had been. He was still smarting over the note she had left; he had no idea whether it was the truth or if she had just listed all the names of the men Eward would gladly skewer with a knife. Either way, it had rattled him.

"Thank you. I was beginning to feel hungry..." Looking at her he paused. "How are you"?

	"I'm alright," she admitted, picking up a pastry and moving to a nearby seat. She sighed, softly, and leaned back. She didn't want to admit that she was any less than perfectly alright. "Any plans for today?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Had Eward known Abigail knew of no Faye, he would have been quite surprised and worried at the same time. As it was, he simply reached out a hand and stroked her cheek, hoping this a perfect opportuntity to both assure her of his affections and assert his masculinity. "Anyway you want." 	Well this was certainly fast; he admired his sisters for that. They never hesitated when they wanted something and he wasn't about to complain. He accepted her by putting his arms around her to steady her position on his lap, allowing her to deepen the kiss. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
