CHARACTERS: Clive Wood & Grayson Wood
SETTING: Grayson and Damien's flat
DATE: March 11th
SUMMARY: Clive seeks out his big brother for much spazzing and celebration.
A popping sound indicated Clive's apparition into Grayson and Damien's flat, just inside the door from which he hurried forward through the flat with a buzz of excitement. He had big news, and whenever he had big news, well clearly the first person he was going to tell would be his idol. "GRAAAY!" He banged the flat of his hand against the wall as he walked past, the resulting noise loud enough to announce his presence throughout the whole flat. This was mostly a precaution in case he was interrupting something he'd rather not see. As it turned out, the banging was for nothing because he encountered his brother a moment later, to which he responded with a bright "Oh there you are! What are you doing in here?" 'Here' meaning the neglected laundry room, a place where washing was a thing of fiction.
Clive slung his arm around his brother's shoulders and squeezed in a lazy hug-greeting, then sat himself on top of one of the muggle machines, disturbing the pile of junk on top. "So I was at Chloe's," he began talking way too fast, "and we were talking and stuff and we were talking about her helping me find work, because she already helped me write a resume and stuff but yeah. And then I was like oh once I get enough monies from working I would be able to afford rent and stuffs and she was like well aren't you going to move in here? and I-" Clive's tongue twisted into a string of incoherent sounds to express his thoughts, accompanied by the flapping of hands "-and well it was always one of those unspoken things that I was going to move in with her eventually and she said that if the only thing that's stopping me from moving in is I'm not making any money then don't worry about it, so now I am." He emitted a high squealing sound in excitement, practically bouncing with the ecstatic energy pent up inside him. He needed someone to share his enthusiasm, and possibly to assure him that adult things like leaving the nest weren't as scary as he was imagining, but mostly the first part for now.
