"Two parties?" Grayson's wide eyes didn't seem possible of going any wider, but they managed. His grin grew broader at the descriptions of both, but scrunched his face up in confusion of the order they were being planned in. "So you want to have the family lunch after the crazy of the first party? You wouldn't be allowed to sleep in and rest up a hangover if you did that, also there's the whole clean up to worry about, and I wish Dot could come, but other than that, it sounds great!" He assured him, nodding enthusiastically as he tried to pay enough attention to his tie to get it finished correctly, but kept looking up at his brother with an expression of something close to pride and awe and a whole mix of other things that showed he was both afraid of and happy for his little brother growing up. If it were Dot, he probably would've started crying already. Despite the extreme closeness of their ages, Grayson found himself feeling really old and that they were hitting some really huge milestones in life. At this rate, he imagined Clive being the first to marry out of the lot.
"I want to make something for your parties," He suddenly blabbed, his expression one of surprise as he said it. "I can't bake. I want to bring something home-made to your party, but I can't bake! What'll I do? Do I have time to learn? Do you know how to bake? Can you show me? What'll I bring? I'm sure there'll be plenty of cake, but - brownies, let's make brownies, do you know how to make brownies? I wonder if Damien knows how to make brownies, but he's at work. Does Chloe - NO! I want it to be a surprise, don't you dare tell her, Angus, or I'll jinx you bald! Would cookies be easier? No, cookies sound like you could accidentally not make enough, how do you decide whether you're making enough cookies? Cake sounds like the easiest way to go, you're right. Thanks for helping me decide, but now I have to figure out how to learn to bake, and I have very limited time, so I should probably start now except that I don't know what goes into cake..." His words trailed off and his brows knitted together, wondering whether it would be smart to wait for Damien to come home or if he should try to find a bakery to help him out, because obviously finding a cookbook or using Google was never his first place to look.
"I'm going to help you move, Clive-o, don't worry. And we'll be super careful about what we're doing with the stuff you're going through. Chances are if it doesn't fit in your house with Chloe, Katie or Oliver will have a hard time getting rid of your stuff, too, so they might offer to keep it. They kept my room when I moved out," he pointed out. He still had a bed and a place to keep clothing when he went to visit for holidays and such, even if they were just a short trip away. "If you still need room, I'm sure Damien wouldn't mind if you used one of our rooms. Merlin knows we have more than enough room for our own junk," he assured him.
