Welcome to the Deck 5 Lounge

Travelers are requested to be in the lounge at 19:00 for a briefing on the Enterprise's upcoming visit to Fornax. The briefing will begin promptly at 1905 and last approximately 15 minutes. Senior officers will be available for questions until 20:00. Afterwards, enjoy the lounge per usual!

Fornax IC/OOC Information

Crew and travelers will remain lodged on board the Enterprise but can sign up to be transported down to the surface of Fornax over the course of the 10 days while Captain Kirk and his senior staff work on a Federation Trade Treaty with the Fornax High Council. Excursions to the Fornax surface will last no longer than 12 standard hours at a time and each transport can accommodate up to 12 people. Sign ups will be available and as long as there is space available, travelers and crewmembers alike can visit the Fornax capital as often as they'd like.

Fornax is a desert-planet with a red sun. There are three main colonies on the surface. During this shore leave opportunity, we will be visiting the colony capital of Fornaxim, located in the center of a dried-up ocean cavern. Highlights of the capital include a being-created reservoir and waterfall; the city's hydroponic gardens; two casinos (18 and older only); the Museum of Interstellar Settlements & Travel; and a pod-racing track. Food is root-vegetable and wild game based, and the Fornaxians are known for their distilleries, which produce a potent raw rye whiskey.

IC Narratives | Peter & Open to Multiples

Peter sat against the wall, five feet up the wall, with his feet tugged beneath him with his hands resting on his knees. Sticking to said wall, he was currently holding his PADD in front of him, toying with it as he worked it over in his hands, tilting it about, playing with some of the software on it.

The meeting hadn't started yet, but he was early like usual. He didn't have any real obligations save with the science crew, so getting there earlier didn't really bother him. He was dressed not in his blues, or normal clothes, but in his Spider-Man costume, mask tugged down over his face. This was a formal briefing for a formal mission of some sort. Every mission he'd ever faced as Spider-Man had always been as... Spider-Man. So he intended to show up ready to do his job. Wondering what the briefing could be, as this was a different process than before.

Dacy was happy to see that Thor was here, it meant she wouldn;t be so alone anymore. Though she had met a few people, it wasn't the same as knowing someone from back home no, was it? So, when the mention of going to another planet was announced, Darcy jumped at the thought and made sure to attend the briefing.

It was there she would come to take notice of the wall-crawler and smiled in his direction. Only to move through the empty seats as people began to enter. Her frame coming to stop and look up at him as she smiled. "Hi, Peter." She replied as she came to take a seat literally under him and tilt her head back. "Nice view?"
