Welcome to the Deck 5 Lounge

She was a Queen, but Tony liked the reference. Princess Leia was royalty, but she shot from the hip and was a hell of a badass. Of course, he knew that Lady Mary had never seen Star Wars, but he liked to refer to it anyway.

He nodded his head in approval of the appletini, "I've had one of those before, they're pretty good. I like mine a little more salty, but sometimes you just need to quaff something sweet and easy on the palate. Have you tried a cosmopolitan yet? I have a feeling you might like those, too."

Tony was careful to keep a respectable distance from Mary. Close enough to talk at a normal speaking level, but not too close to come off like he was 'leaning' into her personal space. He decided to take a seat, back against the bar so that he could see her and everyone else. "It's a hell of a thing, this lounge in full swing like this. I used to love a crowd."

	She definitely did not know. Mary listened to his story, brow slightly knitted. His lifestyle sounded like some of the parties the Bright Young Things had down in London. 	He was right. It sounded like madness. But being on a space ship made must about anything believable by now. "Do you think one of these so-called wormholes could explain how we all came here?" 	Mary didn't know that, but she took his word for it. Tony was rather direct and Mary liked that. "Yes, I think it is motive we have to look at. Why bring all of us here from such different times and places?" The why might end up leading to the who or how. "I wonder if it is someone aboard the ship working covertly." 	"I think they can," Mary said. "I learned about how to run the financial side of my family's estate just a few years ago." She had been proud of herself. Not only was it a vital job, it gave her a sense of purpose beyond being an upper class lady. She sipped her drink and glanced over at Tony. "Why do you think he'd be more likely to listen to me?"
