"Yeah, you know..." Tony said, though it was likely that she didn't know, since she wasn't from his place and time. His hand came up and then dashed off to the side, like he was physically getting rid of some bad memory.
Then he shrugged a shoulder. "You actually don't. There was a thing. I used to be a huge party guy, actually. I threw a birthday party once that would have scandalized your kin. You might have loved it, though. Lots of people, people I'd never even met. You know the kind, they just sort of show up when rich famous people have gatherings. Packed into my house like sardines and I didn't even care. Then there was a series of... unfortunate events. Lets call them that."
