Welcome to the Deck 5 Lounge

Yang and Bodhi

Bodhi didn't really know anybody other than Jyn so he'd decided it might be good to come along. He'd put in for piloting training and was hoping he'd be granted it but knew there was a chance he might not because of his medical. While he'd mostly recovered from interrogation his memory did sometimes stutter.

When he saw the young woman tinkering with her own robotic arm he couldn't help moving closer, focused on the arm with interest.

	Yang glanced up at him, and gave him a big smile. It didn't quite reach her eyes. There was always a little bit of a shadow when someone had suffered and might still be suffering. "Thanks. It was kind of a gift from a.. friend of my dad's." Yang pointed at a chair if he wanted to sit. "I was hurt defending our school from an attack, and the man who sent it was a general who was there to protect us. I guess he felt guilty. I did the paint job myself though."

Yellow and black were definitely her colors, but she didn't carry the gauntlet weapon around on the ship..

	Giving a little nod at the silent invitation he sat down with her, eyes flicking to the arm when she spoke about it though he tried to focus on her. 	"I am the sunny dragon," Yang agreed. She picked the arm up and attached it to the connector on her right bicep, then flexed her fingers. "Much better. It was feeling off. I try not to wear it too often on downtime though. I want to be used to it but not used to it." Yang had accepted what had happened and who she was now. It just hadn't been easy. 	It probably was awkward, but then Bodhi himself was awkward, especially now with his mind still recovering. "I was born on a planet called Jedha but I worked as a cargo pilot all over the galaxy. The people I worked for were evil though, I died helping to stop them" It was strange to think that he was actually dead back on Scarif. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"You died? Like for real?" That surprised Yang. She'd never met anyone who'd died before. Scratch that, she'd had friends die but she'd never met someone after they were already dead. 	Bodhi nodded, "I don't remember being dead or anything. I just remember a flash before getting here but there are people from my time who confirm that we didn't make it" Bodhi didn't want to die but he had known it was likely and at least they hadn't died in vain, they'd completed their mission. 	Suddenly, the idea of people going back was a nerve-wracking one. She knew where she'd left off, it was a safe place, relatively. Assuming there were no Grimm around when she returned.
